The mission of the Palo Alto Police Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for Palo Alto’s residents and working population and strengthen police-community relations. We accomplish this by supporting projects and building partnerships with collaborating community and government organizations. The foundation will raise funds to invest in projects, programs, equipment and initiatives for which there are no current funding sources.

Connection
One of the primary visions of the Palo Alto Police Foundation is supporting dialog between the Police Department and the public. Creating moments or occasions to allow thoughtful conversation in a safe setting because we think what bonds us together is greater than what drives us apart.
Serving Those Who Serve Us
We are a special community filled with people who have a common desire to sustain safe communities across all economic strata and cultures, no matter the political affiliation. We support our public safety staff in small and larger ways -- smiling or waving at a patrol officer, serving meals to the staff who work on holidays, providing useful gifts for family events, and partnering on Night Out each August. If you have the capacity to help others through time, talent, or treasure and want to join our efforts let us know! We are particularly working to develop a listing of founding members for this new foundation to announce in concert with the new Public Safety Building this fall. Please join us!
